Answer:
The most popular coil codes for the CA8 and CS8 series remain active and fully supported - these are the codes most commonly used in customer applications and are available for new orders and ongoing support. A number of less frequently used coil codes have been designated as obsolete.
These underused codes are no longer available for new orders, but we’re happy to help you with migration options or alternatives if you have legacy equipment or specific requirements. The below shown table states which coil codes are still active for the CA8 and CS8 product lines.
If you’re unsure which coil code is right for your application, or if you need help transitioning from an obsolete code, our support team is here to assist. Note that CA8/CS8 contactors and relays are our miniature contactor offering. To replace an obsolete coil code consider migrating to the standard sized CA7 and CS7 contactors and relays with wide ranging coil voltages. See the publications for product selection in CA7 and CS7 product lines. See links on this page.
